Touristic
Itineraries  There
are numerous possibilities of spending a quiet
day immersed in the green of the Mediterranean
bush, yet very near to the sea. There are in
fact easy excursion routes requiring few hours
walking. Promenading along these itineraries
one can enjoy the sweet smell of aromatic plants
like rosemary and thyme which grow wild here,
and admire flowers such as the windflower and
some species of wild orchids. Many of these
footpaths offer wonderful views of the coast,
like for example the road that from Andora goes
to the hamlet of Conna stretching through olive
groves, or the route from the Aurelia to Santa
Croce and which follows the Via Julia Augusta:
when one reaches the little church of Santa
Croce one has a wonderful view over the bay.
